Ceremonies#
While each strategic partner has unique needs, dedicated delivery management includes the following key ceremonies:
Kickoff meeting for your community, combined with onboarding
Monthly or quarterly strategy session for your community
Co-funding kickoffs for one or many communities who support specific feature delivery
Periodic showcases and consortium-building with other strategic partner communities
Acknowledgement of the impact we enable together in our stakeholder and public communications
Kickoff meeting#
Goals of the meeting: understand the community’s strategy and desired outcomes, establish first priorities, points of contact, and how we work together. This meeting can happen alongside community onboarding to 2i2c hub(s).
Agenda:
Most important priorities for the community - could be feature work, strategic co-creation, upcoming events and dates where you need hubs
Engagement plan with 2i2c - set up meetings, etc
How to reach us to ask for help, feedback, etc
How we’ll communicate with you - following GH, Slack, etc
Who attends: 2i2c delivery partner, Community champion & team members either requests
Strategy session / check in#
Goals of the meeting: clarity about what work we’re doing (including updates from both sides), alignment on strategic priorities for your specific community, celebrate wins & problem-solve together
Agenda (may be monthly or quarterly):
Updates on 2i2c work you’re interested in
Thoughts on next priorities for your community
Anywhere we’re stuck and can help each other get unstuck
Input on the next quarterly showcase & prioritization call we host for all communities Who attends: 2i2c delivery partner and/or at least one engineer, Community champion & team members either requests
Co-funding Kickoff#
Goals of the meeting: with one or many communities co-funding a given piece of work, we want to make sure everyone understands the scope of work, that communities have a clear channel for design input, and we understand any implicit or explicit deadlines
Agenda:
Review scope and approach
Identify any critical external dependencies
Build a coalition - get to know each other and our goals
Define ways of working, demo reels, etc.
Note - this meeting may be folded into a strategy session if a single community is co-funding work
Who attends: 2i2c delivery partner, product lead, at least one engineer, Community champions and technical contacts from co-funding communities
Showcases and consortia (for all strategic member communities)#
Goals of the meetings:
Validate shared problems and co-design solutions
Learn from and share accomplishments with other strategic member communities
Stay current on new 2i2c platform and service features
Provide input - including co-funding - on the upcoming 2i2c roadmap
Agenda:
Roadmap updates and discussion
Storytelling - 1-2 experience reports from strategic member communities
2i2c showcase
Who attends: 2i2c Product & Services team, strategic partner community champions & the people they select, 2i2c Business Development team
